First thought, I know every bride wants that picture perfect, but this show makes me want to vomit. I'll disclaim that yeah, I have not seen an episode yet (hence this is part 1), but the promos and reviews on the web are enough for me.
To be honest, I am not even sure what type of fiance would let the woman in their life go through with such a heinous idea. They are marrying the person they fell in love...not some plastic Barbie cut and stitched to look perfect. I understand the idea of wanting the picture perfect wedding and wanting your body - as well as your future spouse's body to be in the best possible condition, but to go to something as extreme as THIS? These women must be certifiable.
Just take a look at the promo photo...a bride with a bouquet, of syringes. Gross.

I sought out to figure if any girls I knew would get this done, but the truth was any that did respond in favor with plastic surgery at ALL in their life...wanted things like a boob job or a nose job done for personal reasons...and would never consider going on the show.
As one bride-to-be Hilary put it "it goes to show you that they will put ANYTHING on TV."
So I set my DVR for tonight for the episode of "For Better or Worse" - my husband was like no way in hell will I watch that with you...I definitely do not judge him for thinking that.
Update for you all tomorrow...as well as a fabulous interview with a health store manager to give you GREAT tips to get into shape in lieu of doing something crazy like these women are.
